Toetem is a small family-run American brand that hand makes barefoot sandals in-house in the USA, with unisex styles for hiking, trail and road running, the gym and everyday wear. I like that the straps are buckle-free and fully adjustable, made from a plant-based material rather than nylon webbing, and you can choose hemp or leather footbeds and Vibram soles in different thicknesses. They are made for adults only, so no kids' sizes.

How Toetem Sandals fits

I'd use their printable size templates rather than guessing, as one buyer found them running small. They suit broad, squarer feet best, and if your toes taper you may have spare footbed beside the little toe. The Metastrap helps slim heels.
