From pointy safety boots to barefoot work boots
This is where my foot problems started. I spent about a decade as a groundworker in narrow, heeled safety boots with steel caps: crushed toes, athlete's foot that never went away, and boots that split open across the toes. Now I work in foot-shaped safety boots. Check any barefoot safety boot is certified to EN ISO 20345 with the rating your site needs, and look for a foot-shaped toe cap, zero drop and a sole that bends at the ball of the foot.
