Saltic

Barefoot brand from Czech Republic, founded 1990.

Saltic is a family-run Zlín company in the Czech Republic that has made climbing and outdoor shoes for over 30 years. They moved into barefoot shoes in 2017 and now make mostly unisex everyday shoes and ankle boots, plus some ballerinas, sandals and barefoot climbing shoes. I like that they are handmade from natural leather (with some vegan options), roomy in the toe box, and the soles can be replaced when worn out.

Specialities: handmade, leather, wide fit, hiking, boots

How Saltic fits

sloped toe box, wide width

I'd measure your foot and add roughly 5 to 10 mm, as one reviewer found the Fura ran big. They suit wide feet well. The Eliot climbing shoe is very roomy and is meant to be sized down, so go by their chart.
