Rutsu is a US brand making unisex barefoot sneakers, mostly canvas low and high tops with some leather options, plus sandals, a work shoe and a boot. The shoes have a wide toe box and a flat, flexible rubber sole, and I like that the styling looks like a classic casual sneaker. They also sell toe socks and a few foot-care bits.

How Rutsu Barefoot fits

Rutsu says it has a wide toe box, but the one independent review I found says it's roomier than a Converse without being the widest around. Measure your foot and add about 1.1 to 1.5 cm. Wide or high instep feet may prefer the low tops.
