Barefoot brand from USA, founded 1981.
Merrell is a big outdoor footwear brand based in Michigan, and I like that it has a proper barefoot range alongside its usual hiking shoes. The Vapor Glove is its thinnest, most flexible zero drop shoe with a Vibram outsole, and there are mesh and leather versions for men and women. The Trail Glove has a little more sole underfoot if you want something a bit more protective.

How Merrell fits

Roomy toe box with a snugger midfoot, so very narrow feet may need to lace firmly. Vapor Glove 6 can feel slightly short, so go up half a size if your toes touch the end. Trail Glove 8 is reported true to length.
