HKS is a German family firm in Nettetal, now in its fourth generation, that makes certified safety shoes for work. Most of the range is conventional safety footwear, but the Barefoot Feeling collection has a wide toe box, a flat flexible sole and a low heel drop, with carbon composite toe caps in unisex sizes 36 to 48. If you need protective toe caps for work, that is the collection I would look at first.

I couldn't find any independent fit reviews, so this rests on HKS's own wording about a wide anatomical toe box. The removable insoles come in narrow, normal and wide, so I'd try them if the fit is close, and check a UK stockist's returns policy for sizing.
