Freet is a family-run UK brand, founded in North Yorkshire in 2010, making wide toe box, zero drop barefoot shoes. Most of the range is unisex adult shoes for everyday wear, hiking and running, plus a kids range, a few boots and sandals, and socks and insoles. I like that they use recycled materials such as CoffeeYarn, made from coffee grounds, and offer vegan options.

Freet is roomy through the forefoot, midfoot and over the top, but sizing changes a lot between models, so measure your foot and use each product's own size guide. The Esk runs large, while the Tundra, Tanga and Vibe tend to run small.
