Curious Red

Curious Red makes one sandal, the Maku, a zero-drop huarache-style design with a 10mm sole and adjustable rope straps, sold for both men and women. There are three versions that differ by footbed: genuine suede, vegan synthetic suede, or rubber. I like that two of them are vegan. The sandals are handcrafted in China, and the small team is spread between the USA, Lebanon and China.

Makus are a strappy sandal, so the straps do much of the work on fit. The brand says they run true to size and to size down if you're between sizes, but go up if your two measurements disagree. The 30 day returns help if you're unsure.
