Bobux is a New Zealand brand that has been making shoes for babies, toddlers and young kids since 1991, with the designs done in NZ. I see lots of soft leather styles in the range, from soft soles for first steps to boots, sandals and smart shoes for older kids. Most are flexible rather than strictly barefoot, but their Alpha range is zero drop with a minimal design, so check which range you are looking at.

How Bobux fits

Bobux only goes up to kids' sizes, and it runs generous with built-in wiggle room, so I'd go by a foot measurement and not size up. One width only, slightly wider than average, so adjustable strap styles help on narrower or higher-volume feet.
