Birchbury is a US brand, designed in California, that makes leather shoes with a wide toe box and a zero-drop sole in classic, regular-looking styles. The range is small: a Brenston dress shoe, a Bramford leather sneaker and a Carnforth chukka boot, all sold as unisex in full-grain leather and made in Vietnam. The insoles are removable, and they have a bit more cushioning than the thinnest barefoot shoes, so they may suit you if you want a smart, gentler way into wider-toed shoes.
